Kelkheim Lizzards Flag Football
The SG Kelkheim Lizzards flag football club near Frankfurt/Main, Germany is one of the most famous and successful flag football clubs in Germany. Since its founding in October 2001, the Lizzards Seniors have won the German Flagfootball Championship in the German Indoor Flag Bowl as well as the German Flag Bowl several times. The Lizzard Seniors take part in the 5on5 DFFL (German Flag Football League) and won the 2nd place in the final tournament 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Through an active youth work, the Lizzards currently participate with a junior team (under 13 years/U13) and a youth team (under 16 years/U16) in the respective leagues of the Hessian Flag Football Association. In 2018, the U16 won the title of Hessian indoor champion, the U13 was in the summer Hessian field runner-up.
